Horacio Valdes

Building dependable software across C#, embedded STM32 systems, and product-focused applications.

About

I’m a software engineer focused on C# application development and embedded systems, particularly STM32-based hardware and device communication. I graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor’s in Game Design & Development and currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science there. My work centers on building reliable applications, firmware interfaces, and supporting tools, with experience in UWP, serial/RS-485 communication, and SQL-backed configuration and data handling.

Projects

Game Development & Recognition

In addition to my work in embedded systems and firmware, I developed and shipped award-winning games during my undergraduate studies at Quinnipiac University. These projects were built collaboratively, where I served as the lead programmer, responsible for core systems, gameplay architecture, and performance optimization. The games went on to earn recognition in regional and international competitions, reflecting both strong technical execution and disciplined product development.

NeonFlip
